Millennials & Gen Z demand creativity
"Creative" as an adjective has been in use for ~500 years while only in use as a noun for about 200 years, and "creator" (small c in the age of social media) was coined only 11 years ago by Youtube!
Each generation has become more creative in their identity.
Adobe research found that 1/3 of boomers identify as creative vs 1/2 of Millenials and 2/3 of Gen Z. So what does that mean for the future of the workplace?
In many organizations we’ve spoken recently there’s a clash of the old guard and the new and old ways of working vs the new.
The creator generation wants to bring their whole selves to work. They want to be seen and heard. They want to be able to express themselves in front of their colleagues and manager through their work and ideas.
So how can teams and manager facilitate that creative expression?
