About Wellness

Burnout is everywhere and few understand how to fight it long term, partly because everyone's wellness journey is a different story and there's no one-size fits all approach.
Wellness is multi-dimensional and includes Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Emotional, Social, and Environmental aspects.
Physical Wellness includes what we need to do to maintain a healthy body (eg diet, nutrition, exercise, sleep, etc).
Mental Wellness includes how we engage with the world (eg creativity, problem solving, learning, staying sharp, etc).
Motional Wellness includes being aware of, accepting, and expressing our feelings as well as the feelings of others.
Spiritual Wellness includes our search for higher meaning and purpose in our existence.
Social Wellness includes how we connect and engage with our family, friends, and communities in meaningful ways.
Environmental Wellness includes our actions and choices that impact planetary health.

This workshop is a deeply awakening experience and will allow participants to become more in-tune with their personal wellness journey as well as build authentic connection and empathy with their colleagues and there they are in their journeys.

Personal Wellness Journey is a guided exercise for discovering where you are currently in your wellness journey and what are the pivotal moments in your story that impact your overall wellness. Participants will enjoy a time of meditative introspection and have opportunities to open up and share their wellness story with others with the amount of vulnerability that they are comfortable with. This workshop is unique and inspiring way to look at wellness!
In this workshop, Felicia Davis, Founder/CEO of the Black Women's Collective, a former HR leader turned Leadership coach, tells the story of her own personal wellness journey and will help each participant discover their own. Through a mix of creative exercises and sharing, your team will walk away inspired and ready to embark on their own wellness journey.

Every 28Muses experience starts with 3 deep breathes and an agreement on confidentiality and that we seek to listen with compassion and edify each other and ourselves.
Felicia Davis, Founder/CEO of the Black Women’s Collective and leadership coach, will give a short presentation on the 6 aspects of wellness and the difference between wellness and wellbeing.
Participants will choose an image that represents their current personal wellness journey and have opportunity to journal/write about their wellness story and pivotal moments that have impacted their story.
Depending on groups size, participants will be able to share their story in the main room or with each other in breakout rooms.
